About Me

When people ask about my profession and I tell them I’m a Life Coach, their response is typically, “What’s a Life Coach?” Life coaching is about teaching you how to achieve the goals you have set for yourself in any area of your life through personal transformation. Each person’s level of commitment determines his or her achievement. It’s about knowing who you are today, what values are important to you, and rising to the challenge to fulfill more than you ever thought was possible!

Let’s use the analogy of a sports coach for a moment. A sports coach is someone who recognizes a set of skills in an athlete before deciding to bring them onto their team, and then teaches them how to maximize those abilities. Often times these coaches see the athlete’s potential better than the athlete. After some rigorous training and commitment from the athlete they learn to become the best they can be at their particular position.

In this game called life we have many goals and expectations we set out to achieve. At times we need guidance in reaching those goals and making them a reality.

I will teach you how to powerfully transform your own life into living your dreams physically, mentally and spiritually. We will accomplish this through communication and understanding what patterns you are running in your life today that are preventing you from reaching the levels that you desire achieving!

My life has been filled with wonderful friends and colleagues.  Each one teaching me something more about myself, and assisting me in seeing the bigger picture of what I’m here to offer others.  What I noticed is that for many years people often saw me better than I saw myself.  I now want to take all of my life experiences and pay them forward with guiding and assisting others that are looking for a helping hand.

While working in a high stress job I wound up facing some serious health challenges. I finally woke up one day and realized I really do have a lot more to offer. Upon my resignation my health woes began to clear up, with the exception of the severe asthma that I lived with for over 30 years.

I immersed myself into studying health and wellness, which led me into Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) to become a Master Practitioner in NLP and Hypnosis.  Then one day while working with my coach I heard about the Buteyko Breathing Method.  A few months later I was corresponding with an instructor in Ireland who had studied with Dr. Buteyko and was coming to the US to provide a training class.  I eagerly signed up for the class, excited to learn the technique myself!  After further conversation I also decided to become certified so I could teach the skills and knowledge to countless others who have suffered needlessly with this illness.

After consistent dedication of practicing the Buteyko Breathing Method, my 30 years of struggling with asthma is over!  I am finally living medication free and feeling fantastic!

The journey of my life has taken many twists and turns throughout the years. The adventure has been interesting and at times intense, yet I would not trade any of it, as I know each pathways has taught me many lessons and brought me to where I am today.  To all of those who provided their ideas and suggestions for my path, I say “thank you” for being my coach and mentor.  The paths I have taken have not been mistakes, only learning experiences that have provided me the privilege to be where I am today.
